The Business-Officials Program offers the opportunity to the Corps of State Trade Officers and Economists to become acquainted with current events in business and industry through symposia in companies belonging to the Círculo
2013
Within the framework of the Social Collaboration Programs of the Círculo de Empresarios, in September 2013 the Secretary of State for Trade Jaime García-Legaz and the President of the Círculo Mónica de Oriol signed an Agreement creating a new Program for civil servants of the Corps of State Trade Officers and Economists aimed at acquainting them current events in business and industry within companies belonging to the Círculo.
2014
On October 1, 2014 the fifth Symposium of the Program for Businesses – Civil Servants from the Ministry of the Economy and Competitiveness was held at the head office of Ferrovial. The Program benefited from the participation of the directors of Corporate Strategy in Ferrovial, Ferrovial Airports, Ferrovial Agroman, Cintra and Ferrovial Services, setting out matters relating to internationalization with 18 trade officers and economists from the Ministry.
On April 8, 2014 the fourth symposium of the Program for Businesses – Ministry of the Economy and Competitiveness was held in Iberdrola. The Director of Corporate Resources and member of the Círculo, Fernando Becker, opened the symposium with José Gasset, the Deputy Director to the President and member of the Círculo. The day was also attended by Jesús Sainz, the General Secretary of the Círculo de Empresarios.
On March 25, 2014 the third symposium of the Program for Businesses – Ministry of the Economy and Competitiveness was held in Alstom. The president Antonio Moreno chaired the symposium, which was also attended by Jesús Sainz, the General Secretary of the Círculo de Empresarios.
On February 25, 2014 the head offices of Idom in Madrid was the venue of the second symposium of the Program, attended by 10 civil servants from the Ministry of the Economy and Competitiveness. Rafael López, the Managing Director of Development in Idom and Member of the Círculo de Empresarios hosted the symposium.
The first symposium was held on January 25, 2014 in Inforpress regarding matters relating to the internationalization of businesses. Nine civil servants from the Ministry attended the symposium, in which the President of Inforpress and member of the Board of Directors of the Círculo de Empresarios, Nuria Vilanova, participated.
