What differentiates the Círculo from other business associations?
The activity of the Círculo is a Think Tank that does not defend specific interests, an activity that corresponds to other types of institutions. The Círculo suggests ideas, from a business perspective, that favor the best economic development for the benefit of Spanish society as a whole.
How is the Círculo financed?
Exclusively through the fees of its members. It does not receive any type of subsidy, neither public nor private. It is, therefore, completely independent.
Who are partners of the Círculo?
Individuals and business leaders of the main companies operating in Spain and who share an interest and concern for the socio-economic environment.
What are the main issues that concern the Círculo?
The Círculo is concerned about all the economic issues that have a relationship with the welfare of Spanish society. And more specifically those that are related to the major structural reforms that the Spanish economy needs for its further development. Among the main areas of reform proposed by the Círculo are the labor market, the regulatory framework, education system (given the extraordinary importance of human capital) and the fiscal policy.
